R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, in 1965, the City of Beaumont acquired an
easement out of Lot 47 and part of Lots 48 and 49, Block 4, Crary
Addition, for sanitary sewer purposes; and,
WHEREAS, this property was recently purchased by the City
of Beaumont, in the name of the State of Texas, for the Martin
Luther King, Jr. , Parkway/Spur 380 Project (Parcel No. 259) ; and,
WHEREAS, to clear the title, the State has requested that
the City quitclaim their interest to the State;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute a
Release of Easement releasing an easement out of Lots 47, 48 and
49, Block 4 of the Crary Addition, to the State of Texas.
