WHEREAS, on November 3 , 1986, bids were received for
Sanitary Sewer Improvements Project, 18C; and,
WHEREAS, Sterling Utility Construction, Inc. submitted a
bid in the amount of $736,378; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the
bid submitted by Sterling Utility Construction is the lowest and
best bid received and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Sterling Utility Construction, Inc. be accepted by
the City of Beaumont and the City Manager be, and he is hereby,
authorized to enter into a contract with Sterling Utility
Construction, Inc. in the amount of $736, 378 for Sanitary Sewer
Improvements Project, 18C.
