WHEREAS, on August 12, 1985, the City Council awarded a
contract to Thomas H. Heard General Contractor, Inc. for Sanitary
Sewer Improvements Contract 17A & 17C, Separation Sewers Central
(Broadway system west of Gulf Street) in the amount of $1 ,836,072;
and,
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 is being recommended to
provide for payment for extra work performed by the contractor;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute
Change Order No. 1 to the contract between Thomas H . Heard General
Contractor, Inc. and the City of Beaumont for Sanitary Sewer
Improvements Contract 17A & 17C, Separation Sewers Central in the
amount of $194, 597.61 .
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this
