WHEREAS, on September 29, 1986, bids were received for
the purchase of 26, 188 feet of 4" through 15" polyvinyl chloride
pipe; and,
WHEREAS, Coburn Supply of Beaumont, Texas submitted a bid
in the amount of $30,339.77; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Coburn Supply is the lowest and best bid received and
should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted for the purchase of 26, 188 feet of 4"
through 15" polyvinyl chloride pipe in the amount of $30,339.77 be
accepted by the City of Beaumont.
