R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, the City Council awarded a contract to
Excavators & Constructors, Inc. in the amount of $973,701 .50 for
the Highland Avenue T. I .P . Project on April 1 , 1986; and,
WHEREAS, Change Order No . 1 is being recommended to
provide for underground obstructions and interferences unknown to
the owner, engineer and contractor at the time of receiving bids
and awarding the contract;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute
Change Order No . 1 to the contract between Excavators &
Constructors, Inc . and the City of Beaumont for the Highland
Avenue T .I .P . Project in the amount of $34, 200.95, increasing the
amount of the contract to $1 ,007,902 .45 .
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this
