R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, on September 29, 1986, bids were received for
the purchase of two ( 2) 6 x 6 dump trucks; and,
WHEREAS, Volvo White Truck Corp. of Houston, Texas
submitted a bid in the amount of $140,957.20; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Volvo White Truck Corp. is the lowest and best bid
received and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted for the purchase of two ( 2) 6 x 6 dump
trucks in the amount of $140, 957. 20 be accepted by the City of
Beaumont.
