WHEREAS, on August 18, 1986, bids were received for the
purchase of 3 , 200 feet of 12" Polyvinyl Chloride Water Pipe; and,
WHEREAS, Coburn Supply of Beaumont, Texas submitted a bid
in the amount of $24,832 with a 2% discount for prompt payment;
and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Coburn Supply is the lowest and best bid and should be
accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Coburn Supply in the amount of $24,832 with a 2%
discount for prompt payment for the purchase of 3 , 200 feet of 12"
Polyvinyl Chloride Water Pipe be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
