R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, the City has contracted with Texas Commerce Bank
Beaumont, N.A. , and Interfirst Bank Beaumont as depositories for
investment purposes; and,
WHEREAS, Texas Commerce Bank Beaumont wishes to pledge
the following securities with Texas Commerce Bank Houston effective
August 27, 1986:

389619 Dallas County JCD, 4 .80%
Due 2-15-87 500,000.00
and,
WHEREAS, Interfirst Bank Beaumont wishes to release the
following securities being held at Federal Reserve Bank -
Dallas/Houston Branch:
RECEIPT NO. DESCRIPTION PAR VALUE
912827SQ6 U.S. Treasury Note Y-87 due $1 ,000,000.00
8-31-87 @ 8 .875%
THAT Texas Commerce Bank Beaumont, N.A. , and Interfirst Bank
Beaumont be permitted to pledge and release the above-described
securities and a certified copy of this resolution shall constitute
the approval of such pledges and releases and evidence of the
authority of said bank to make said pledges and releases.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this
