R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, on July 1 , 1986, the City Council considered a
resolution authorizing the City Manager to enter into a
lease/purchase agreement with Security Pacific Leasing Corporation
of Houston for the acquisition of equipment to be used in the
residential refuse collection pilot program; and,
WHEREAS, Security Pacific Leasing Corporation submitted a
proposal at an interest rate of 7 .65%; and,
WHEREAS, the resolution R-86-201 passed by Council
incorrectly stated the interest rate at 7 .56%; and,
WHEREAS, Council desires to correct the error;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT resolution R-86-201 be, and it is hereby, amended to correctly
reflect that the proposal submitted by Security Pacific Leasing
Corporation of Houston was at an interest rate of 7 .65%.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this
