WHEREAS, the City Council awarded John Bankston
Construction and Equipment Rental, Inc. the Washington Blvd.
Sanitary Sewer Relocation - Sanitary Sewer Improvements Project in
the amount of $174, 103 ; and,
WHEREAS, Change Order No . 1 is being recommended to
adjust the quantity of all bid items to the actual as-built
quantities;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute
Change Order No. 1 to the contract between John Bankston
Construction and Equipment Rentals, Inc. and the City of Beaumont
for the Washington Blvd. Sanitary Sewer Relocation - Sanitary Sewer
Improvements Project decreasing the amount of the contract to
$137,231 .75 and making final payment to John Bankston Construction
and Equipment Rentals, Inc . in the amount of $35,063.05 .
