WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of an
encrypted mobile two-way radio system; and,
WHEREAS, Motorola Communications of Houston, Texas
submitted a bid in the amount of $ 32, 394. 90 and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Motorola Communications is the lowest and best bid and
should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Motorola Communications in the amount of
$ 32, 394 . 90 for the purchase of an encrypted mobile two-way radio
system be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this
