R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Mr . Ralph Brookner has applied to the County for
refund of an overpayment of 1985 city taxes in the amount of Four
Thousand Nine Hundred Ninety-Eight Dollars and Twenty-Nine Cents
($4,998.29) ; and,
WHEREAS, the County Tax Assessor/Collector has notified
the city of the error and has requested a refund of the above
amount; and,
WHEREAS, State law requires the approval of the City
Council for all tax refunds in excess of Five Hundred Dollars
($500) ;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the refund of Four Thousand Nine Hundred Ninety-Eight Dollars
and Twenty-Nine Cents ($4, 998.29) to Mr. Ralph Brookner for the
overpayment of 1985 city taxes be approved.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this
