WHEREAS, on June 16, 1986, bids were received for new
roofing, roof repairs and sheet metal work for the Julie Rogers
Theatre; and,
WHEREAS, Price Roofing and Sheet Metal submitted a bid in
the amount of $68,040; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Price Roofing and Sheet Metal is the lowest and best
bid and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Price Roofing and Sheet Metal in the amount of
68,040 for new roofing, roof repairs and sheet metal work for the
Julie Rogers Theatre be accepted by the City of Beaumont with the
stipulation that the company meet the city' s affirmative action
plan within six (6) months after signing the contract.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this
