WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of liquid
chemicals for use at the Water Production Plant; and,
WHEREAS, the following bids were submitted:

Weskem, Inc. (Hs)
Aqua Amonia $ 325.00/ton $ 4,777 .50
Calgon (Pa)
Zinc Metaphosphate $1 , 300.00/ton $26, 000.00
and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bids
submitted above are the lowest and best bids received and should be
accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bids submitted above in the amounts stated for the
purchase of liquid chemicals be, and the same are hereby, accepted
by the City of Beaumont.
