R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, on June 16, 1986, bids were received for the
construction of the College Street T.I . P. Project from 11th Street
to Goliad Street; and,
WHEREAS, Norman Materials Company submitted a bid in the
amount of $1 , 530,335.28; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Norman Materials Company is the lowest and best bid
and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Norman Materials Company be accepted by the City of
Beaumont and the City Manager be, and he is hereby , authorized to
enter into a contract with Norman Materials Company in the amount
of $1 , 530, 335.28 for the construction of the College Street T.I . P.
Project from 11th Street to Goliad Street.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this
