WHEREAS, on May 29, 1986, bids were received for an
annual contract for the mowing of developed and vacant lots; and,
WHEREAS, John W. Clubb of Beaumont, Texas submitted a bid
in the amount of $ .002 per square foot for mowing developed lots
and $ .0019 per square foot for mowing vacant lots resulting in an
approximate annual amount of $50,000 ; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by John W . Clubb is the lowest and best bid and should be
accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by John W . Clubb in the amount stated above
be accepted by the City of Beaumont and the City Manager be, and he
is hereby , authorized to execute an annual contract with John W.
Clubb for the mowing of developed and vacant lots.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this
