WHEREAS, on June 2, 1986, bids were received for an
annual contract for maintenance of typewriters; and,
WHEREAS, Mid-County Business Machines of Nederland, Texas
submitted a bid in the amount of $42.50 per machine per year; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Mid-County Business Machines is the lowest and best
bid and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Mid-County Business Machines in the
amount of $42.50 per machine per year be accepted by the City of
Beaumont and the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to
execute an annual contract with Mid-County Business Machines for
the maintenance of typewriters.
