WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of 165,000
pounds of liquid polymers for use by the Water Utilities Department
at the Water Reclamation Plant; and,
WHEREAS, Allied Chemical submitted a bid in the amount of
$ . 13 per pound for a total expenditure of $21,450 ; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Allied Chemical is the only qualified bid received and
should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Allied Chemical in the amount of $21,450
for the purchase of 165,000 pounds of liquid polymers be, and the
same is hereby, accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this
