WHEREAS, on May 5, 1986, bids were received for
contracts to purchase microcomputer systems over the next twelve
(12) months; and
WHEREAS, comprehensive bids were submitted by three firms
and selected bids were submitted by six firms ; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the
comprehensive bid submitted by Concept Computer Centers of Beaumont
and the selected bids submitted by IBM Corporation of Beaumont and
Zenith Data Systems of Houston are the lowest and best bids and
should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT :
THAT the bids submitted by Concept Computer Centers, IBM
Corporation and Zenith Data Systems be accepted by the City of
Beaumont, and the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to
enter into contracts for the purchase of microcomputer systems .
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this
