WHEREAS, on May 12, 1986, bids were received for the
purchase of transit benches and shelters; and,
WHEREAS, the following bids were submitted:
Handi-Hut, Inc . (Passaic, New Jersey) :
21 - Type A Shelters - $ 50, 148
9 - Type B Shelters - 44, 064
Persenaire Park and Playground Products, Inc. (Houston, Texas) :
50 - Bus Stop Benches- $ 4,845
and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bids
submitted above are the lowest and best bids and should be
accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bids submitted above for the purchase of transit benches
and shelters in the amounts stated above be accepted by the City of
Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this
