WHEREAS, on May 20, 1986, the City Council passed
Resolution 86-159 authorizing execution of a license to encroach on
the east five and one-half feet (5 1/2 ' ) of an existing eight-foot
(8 ' ) utility easement in Wescalder Estates Addition; and,
WHEREAS, the computations were in error in that it did
not include the eave overhang;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT Resolution 86-159 authorizing the City Manager to execute a
License to Encroach Agreement with Mr. William Martin, Jr . be
amended to allow a six and one-half foot (6 1/2 ' ) encroachment on
the eight-foot (8 ' ) utility easement located on the rear of Lot 21,
Block 3 , Wescalder Estates Addition for a fee of Five Hundred
Dollars ($500) .
