WHEREAS, the City of Beaumont awarded Sanitary Sewer
Improvements-Contract 18A & 7C/10, Separation Sewers & Primer Lift
Station/Force Main to Excavators and Constructors, Inc . in the
amount of $737, 543.95 ; and,
WHEREAS, Change Order No . 1 has been recommended to
adjust the quantities of all bid items to the actual as-built
quantities, extra items of necessary work , and to serve as the
basis for final payment;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute
Change Order No . 1 to Sanitary Sewer Improvements-Contract 18A &
7C/10, Separation Sewers & Primer Lift Station/Force Main with
Excavators and Constructors, Inc. decreasing the contract amount to
$719, 842 .63 and make final payment to Excavators & Constructors,
Inc. in the amount of $36, 202. 54.
