WHEREAS, on July 9, 1985, the City of Beaumont awarded a
contract to Greer Construction Company for construction of the 1984
Community Development Block Grant Sidewalk Program in the amount of
$134,865; and,
WHEREAS, the project has been completed in accordance
with plans and specifications at a cost of $116,463.30 which is
$18,401 .70 below the contract price;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT construction of the 1984 Community Development Block Grant
Sidewalk Program is hereby accepted by the City of Beaumont and
that the City Manager be, and he is hereby , authorized to make
final payment to Greer Construction Company in the amount of
$6, 797.10.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this
