R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, on February 10, 1986, bids were received for a
contract for drainage reconstruction on North Street from IH-10 to
11th Street and 11th Street from IH-10 to Ashley Street; and,
WHEREAS, Blacksher & Sons, Inc. submitted a bid in the
amount of $404,394. 20; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Blacksher & Sons, Inc. is the lowest and best bid and
should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Blacksher & Sons, Inc . in the amount of
$404, 394.20 be accepted by the City of Beaumont, and the City
Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to enter into a contract
for drainage reconstruction on North Street from IH-10 to 11th
Street and 11th Street from IH-10 to Ashley Street.
