WHEREAS, on April 7 , 1986, bids were received for an
annual contract to furnish concessions at the Municipal Athletic
Complex, Babe Zaharis Park, Alice Keith Pool, Magnolia Pool; and,
WHEREAS, Hilltime Foods and C & B Enterprise of Beaumont,
Texas submitted the following bids :
Municipal Alice
Athletic Babe Keith Magnolia
Complex Zaharis Pool Pool
C & B Enterprise No Bid No Bid No Bid 20%
Hilltime Foods 30% 20% 15% 15%
and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bids
submitted by Hilltime Foods and C & B Enterprise are the best bids
and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bids of Hilltime Foods and C & B Enterprise be accepted by
the City of Beaumont and the City Manager be, and he is hereby,
authorized to enter into contracts with Hilltime Foods and C & B
Enterprise in the amounts shown above for annual contracts to
furnish concessions at the Municipal Athletic Complex, Babe Zaharis
Park , Alice Keith Pool and Magnolia Pool .
