R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, on March 31, 1986, bids were received for a
contract for auctioneering services; and,
WHEREAS, Rene' Bates Auctioneers, Inc . submitted a bid in
the amount of 7 .45% for sales up to $100, 000 and 7% for sales
exceeding $100,000; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Rene' Auctioneers, Inc . is the lowest and best bid and
should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Rene' Bates Auctioneers, Inc. in the
amount of 7 .45% for sales up to $100,000 and 7% for sales exceeding
$100,000 be accepted by the City of Beaumont, and the City Manager
be, and he is hereby , authorized to enter into a contract for
auctioneering services with Rene' Bates Auctioneers, Inc.
