R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, the City has contracted with Spindletop Savings
as a City depository for investment purposes; and,
WHEREAS, Spindletop Savings wishes to pledge the
following security with the Federal Reserve Bank Dallas, Houston
Branch:
RECEIPT NO. DESCRIPTION PAR VALUE
U. S . Treasury Bonds, 0/985%; $ 700,000.00
due 8/15/15
and,
WHEREAS, Spindletop Savings wishes to release the
following security being held at Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas,
Houston Branch:
RECEIPT NO. DESCRIPTION PAR VALUE
U. S. Treasury Bonds, 10.625% $ 700,000.00
due 8/15/15
The effective date for this transaction shall be December
3, 1985;
NOW , THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas, Houston Branch be
permitted to pledge and release the above-described security and a
certified copy of this resolution shall constitute the approval of
such pledge and release and evidence of the authority of said bank
to make said pledge and release.
