R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, on March 17, 1986, bids were received for an
annual contract for the purchase of approximately seventy-five (75)
fire hydrants; and
WHEREAS, the following bid was submitted by Golden Triangle
Pipe and Water Supply Company of Beaumont for a total cost of
$32, 952. 25:

50 each 3 '6" fire hydrants $435.25
10 each 4 ' 10" fire hydrants $442. 10
10 each 4 '6" fire hydrants $448.95
5 each 5 '0" fire hydrants $455.85
and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Golden Triangle Pipe and Water Supply Company is the
lowest and best bid and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Golden Triangle Pipe and Water Supply
Company in the amount of $32, 952. 25 be accepted by the City of
Beaumont, and the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to
enter into annual contract for the purchase of approximately
seventy-five ( 75) fire hydrants.
