WHEREAS, on January 27, 1986, bids were received for
construction of the Highland Avenue T. I . P. Project; and,
WHEREAS, Excavators & Constructors, Inc. submitted a bid
in the amount of $973, 701. 50; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Excavators & Constructors, Inc. is the lowest and best
bid and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Excavators & Constructors, Inc. Inc. in
the amount of $973, 701 .50 for construction of the Highland Avenue
T.I .P Project be accepted by the City of Beaumont and the City
Manager is hereby authorized to execute a contract for such
project.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this
