WHEREAS, on March 17, 1986, bids were received for an
annual supply of bell joint clamps for use by the Water Utilities
Service Center; and,
WHEREAS, SPI Municipal Supply of Lafayette, Louisiana,
submitted a bid in the amount of $7, 550. 00; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by SPI Municipal Supply is the lowest and best bid meeting
specifications and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by SPI Municipal Supply for an annual supply
of bell joint clamps for use by the Water Utilities Service Center in
the amount of $7, 550.00 be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the
