R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, on February 3, 1986, bids were received for the
Pine Street landfill closure; and,
WHEREAS, John Bankston Construction and Equipment
Rentals, Inc. submitted a bid in the amount of $1 ,422,966.99; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by John Bankston Construction and Equipment Rentals, Inc.
is the lowest and best bid and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by John Bankston Construction and Equipment
Rentals, Inc. in the amount of $1 ,422, 966.99 for the Pine Street
landfill closure be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this
