WHEREAS, the City has contracted. with Texas Commerce Bank
Beaumont, N.A. as a City depository for investment purposes; and,
WHEREAS, Texas Commerce Bank Beaumont wishes to release
the following security being held at Texas Commerce Bank Houston,
N.A. , effective February 14, 1986:

467977 U. S. Treasury Note, 11%; $1 , 000, 000.00
due 2/15/90
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT Texas Commerce Bank-Beaumont, N.A. be permitted to release the
above-described security, effective February 14, 1986, and a
certified copy of this resolution shall constitute the approval of
such release and evidence of the authority of said bank to make
said release.
