WHEREAS, the City of Beaumont awarded Contract
14A-Washington Boulevard Interceptor, to Baytown Construction Co. ,
Inc. in the amount of $1, 045, 906; and,
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 2 has been recommended to
adjust actual quantities of pipe and material installed, adjust the
contract completion date and to serve as the basis for final
payment;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute
Change Order No . 2 to Contract 14A-Washington Boulevard Interceptor
with Baytown Construction Co. , Inc. decreasing the contract amount
to $1 , 053, 028.85 and make final payment to Baytown Construction
Co. , Inc. in the amount of $53, 265. 71 .
