BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute
a letter agreement with the Jefferson County Mosquito Control, a
copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit "A" , granting them
permission to operate their airplanes over the city for mosquito
control purposes.

Dear Sir:
Each year the Mosquito Control District requests the
governing bodies of the different communities in Jefferson
County to furnish a waiver permitting the Mosquito Control
planes to fly low over the territory under their jurisdiction.
It is respectfully requested that the City Council sign
the enclosed letter granting permission for the Jefferson County
Mosquito Control District to operate the airplanes over the
city for mosquito control purposes.
Federal Regulations places the responsibility of main-
taining all records and of complying with all the rules and
the regulations upon the operator of the aircraft. This file
is open at all times for inspection.

The Jefferson County Mosquito Control District is authorized to
fly at low levels as necessary to apply insecticides for the
control of mosquitoes within the City limits of the City of
Beaumont.
