R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, the Beaumont Charlton Pollard High School
Academic Decathlon Team placed second in the Region 7 Texas
Academic Decathlon Contest; and,
WHEREAS, the team will represent this area in the State
Tournament to be held in San Antonio, Texas March 1st and 2nd,
1986; and,
WHEREAS, certain materials in the Beaumont Public Library
Audio-Visual Department will be useful to the team in preparing for
the State Tournament;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to allow
access to the Audio Visual materials in the Beaumont Public Library
System by the Academic Decathlon Team of the Beaumont Charlton
Pollard High School.
