WHEREAS, on January 27, 1986, bids were received for an
annual contract to furnish oyster shell for use by the Street
Division; and
WHEREAS, Dravo Basic Materials Company of Beaumont
submitted a bid in the amount of Thirteen and 75/100 Dollars ($13 .75)
per ton; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Dravo Basic Materials Company is the lowest and best bid
and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Dravo Basic Materials Company in the amount
of Thirteen and 75/100 Dollars ( $13.75) per ton be accepted by the
City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this
