WHEREAS, bids were received for an annual contract for
maintenance of the Civic Center Complex, the Athletic Complex, .litter
pick-up downtown and on arterial streets; and,
WHEREAS, the following bids were received:

Civic Center Complex M & R Cleaning $26,700
Athletic Complex M & R Cleaning 26,700
Downtown Litter Alamo Lawn 19, 200
Arterial Street Litter Beaumont Products 95, 265
and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bids
submitted above are the lowest and best bids and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bids submitted above be accepted by the City of Beaumont,
and the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to enter into
annual contracts for maintenance of the Civic Center Complex, the
Athletic Complex, litter pick-up downtown and on arterial streets.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the
day of 1986.
