R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, on November 25, 1985, bids were received for the
reroofing of No. 2 and No. 3 fire stations; and,
WHEREAS, award of bid was made to Gray Roofing for Fire
Station No. 3 in the amount of $4,950; and,
WHEREAS, due to an error in the evaluation of the bid on
Fire Station No. 3 , the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Gray Roofing was not the lowest and best bid and
should not have been accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Gray Roofing in the amount of $4,950 for
the reroofing of Fire Station No. 3 submitted by Gray Roofing
should be rejected and that the contract should be re-bid.
