R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, on December 2, 1985, bids were received for the
purchase of one (1 ) suburban type vehicle and two ( 2) 3/4 ton
pickup trucks; and,
WHEREAS, the following bids were received:
J. K. Chevrolet:
1 suburban $14, 786.85
Beaumont Motor Company:
2 3/4 ton pickup truck $22, 910.82
and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bids
submitted by J K Chevrolet and Beaumont Motor Company are the best
and lowest bids and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bids of J K Chevrolet and Beaumont Motor Company be
accepted by the City of Beaumont in the above stated amounts for the
purchase of one (1 ) suburban and two ( 2 ) 3/4 ton pickup trucks.
