WHEREAS, on July 17, 1984, City Council passed a
resolution awarding a bid to Texas Sterling Construction for
Sanitary Sewer Improvements Contract 13, Railroad Interceptor;
and,
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 2 , as proposed, provides for
adjustment of contract bid items to reflect as-built quantities,
field changes incurred during construction and provides a basis for
funal payment to the contractor;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute
Change Order No. 2 to Sanitary Sewer Improvements Contract 13,
Railroad Interceptor with Texas Sterling Construction and make
final payment to Texas Sterling Construction in the amount of
$99,420.03.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this
