R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, on November 11, 1985, bids were received for an
annual contract for reinforced concrete pipe; and,
WHEREAS, the following bids were received:
National Concrete Products:
12" reinforced concrete pipe $ 4.40 plf
15" reinforced concrete pipe 4.99 plf
18" reinforced concrete pipe 5 .71 plf
21" reinforced concrete pipe 6 .04 plf
24" reinforced concrete pipe 8 .49 plf
30" reinforced concrete pipe 12.04 plf
36" reinforced concrete pipe 17.33 plf
42" reinforced concrete pipe 24.85 plf
48" reinforced concrete pipe 30.62 plf
Pyramid Concrete Pipe Company:
7 x 7 x 7 box culvert $883.26 ea.
and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bids
submitted by National Concrete Products and Pyramid Concrete Pipe
Company are the best and lowest bids and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bids of National Concrete Products and Pyramid Concrete
Pipe Company be accepted by the City of Beaumont in the amounts
stated for an annual contract for an annual contract for the
purchase of reinforced concrete pipe.
