WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of computer
equipment; and,
WHEREAS, C and I Computer Service of Port Arthur submitted
a bid in the amount of $18,900 for a Line Printer and Helena
Laboratories submitted a bid in the amount of $7,875 for 16-Port
Controller Boards; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bids
submitted by C and I Computer Service and Helena Laboratories are the
best and lowest bids and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bids submitted by C and I Computer Service and Helena
Laboratories for the purchase of computer equipment be accepted by
the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the
day of 1985.
