WHEREAS, on September 30, 1985 bids were received for an
annual contract for maintenance of computer equipment; and,
WHEREAS, the following bids were submitted:

WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bids
submitted by General Electric ICSO and Helena Data Systems are the
lowest and best bids meeting specifications and should be
accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bids of General Electric ICSO and Helena Data Systems be
accepted by the City of Beaumont in the amounts stated for an
annual contract for the maintenance of computer equipment.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this

Re : Maintenance Contract Termination Policy
Dear Helen ,
This letter is to clarify Helena Data Systems policy on
termination of maintenance agreement . Helena Data Systems
requires 90 days written notice to formally terminate a
maintenance contract .
Should the final date occur sooner than the normal term-
ination date , a prorated refund of all moneys paid towards
the maintenance contract will be refunded less 10% adminis-
trative fee .
The prorated refund will be calculated from the last day
of the maintenance contract executed to the last day of
the original agreement .
