WHEREAS, the City has contracted with First City National
Bank of Beaumont as a City depository for investment purposes; and,
WHEREAS, First City National Bank of Beaumont wishes to
release the following security being held at the Federal Reserve
Bank of Dallas, Houston Branch:
RECEIPT NO. DESCRIPTION PAR VALUE
U. S. Treasury Notes, 9 .75%; $ 1 ,500,000.00
due 11/1/85
U.S. Treasury Bill; due 2/20/86 1 ,000,000.00
U.S. Treasury Note; 10.375%; 3,000,000.00
due 11/30/86
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT First City National Bank of Beaumont be permitted to release
the above-described securities and a certified copy of this
resolution shall constitute the approval of such release and
evidence of the authority of said bank to make said release.
