WHEREAS, on September 30, 1985 bids were received for an
annual contract for the purchase of approximately 5 ,000 tons of
limestone base; and,
WHEREAS, Davidson Construction Materials, Inc. of
Beaumont, Texas submitted a bid in the amount of $12. 25 for
limestone base F .O. B . plant and $13.80 for limestone base
delivered; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Davidson Construction Materials, Inc. is the lowest
and best bid and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Davidson Construction Materials, Inc. be accepted
by the City of Beaumont in the amount stated above for an annual
contract for the purchase of approximately 5 ,000 tons of limestone
base.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this
