WHEREAS, an agreement has been negotiated for right-of-way
acquisition for the Crockett Connector/Liberty-Laurel T.I .P Project;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the purchase of the following parcel of land for the Crockett
Connector/Liberty-Laurel T .I .P Project be, and the same is hereby,
approved:
Parcel 8 : 5, 793 .73 square feet out of Block 42,
Original Townsite of Beaumont
Owner: Southern Pacific Transportation Co.
Appraised Value: $65, 759
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT the City Manager be, and he is
hereby, authorized to accept a 0 .101 acre tract of land deeded by
Southern Pacific to the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this
