R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, on July 17, 1984, City Council passed a
resolution awarding a bid to Texas Sterling Construction, Inc. for
Sanitary Sewer Improvements Project 13, Railroad Interceptor; and,
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 is being proposed to provide a
time extension of 44 days due to bad weather and other conditions
beyond the contractor' s control making the revised contract period
374 days and the revised completion date September 1 , 1985;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute
Change Order No. 1 extending the time period on the construction of
Sanitary Sewer Improvements Project 13, Railroad Interceptor with
Texas Sterling Construction, Inc. to 374 days making the revised
completion date September 1 , 1985.
