WHEREAS, on August 26, 1985, bids were received for the
purchase of seven (7) mobile radios for use by the Police Department;
and,
WHEREAS, United Communications, Inc. of Beaumont, Texas
submitted a bid in the amount of $6, 172. 25; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by United Communications, Inc. is the lowest and best bid
and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by United Communications, Inc. for the
purchase of seven (7) mobile radios for use by the Police Department
the amount of $6, 172.25 be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this
