WHEREAS, both the City and Jefferson County intend to
hold an election in the City of Beaumont on November 5 , 1985; and,
WHEREAS, it will be in the interest of both parties to
hold a joint election on such date;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the city hereby declares its intent to hold a joint election
with Jefferson County and directs the City Manager to take all
necessary steps to hold such joint election.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this
