R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, on August 26, 1985, bids were received for an oil,
gas and mineral lease in Tyrrell Park; and,
WHEREAS, BHP Petroleum (Americas) , Inc. submitted the
following bid:
Lease Bonus: $155 per acre or $24,025
Annual Rental: $ 77.50 per acre or $12,012.50
Royalty: 25.25%
and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted above is the best bid and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by BHP Petroleum (Ameicas) , Inc. for an oil,
gas and mineral lease of the southern 155 acres of Tyrrell Park in
the amount of $24,025 with an annual rental of $12,012.50 and
royalties of 25.25% be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
